Hello, I’m So Yeon 👋 

I’m a UX researcher at Waymo with a background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) design + research.

I received my PhD at Stanford University, where I also earned my Master’s in Design (d.school). I received my BSE in Mechanical Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

I investigate user perceptions and behaviors in the context of interactive platforms (e.g., social media, co-editing, video-conferencing). My work has been published (and awarded) at CHI, CSCW, ISMIR, PLOS One, and HCI International.
